IT is FINISHED! Grad 2021

As of August 9, 2021 I have officially finished my Masters degree at the University of Georgia. I commend any and all graduates that had to endure education through COVID these past years (which is crazy to say, it’s been almost a year and a half!). After going into the program excited and with a clear vision for my research and goals, COVID really threw a wrench into much of my plans. Working with my advisor, Dr. Gary T. Green, a new plan of action was formed and I greatly appreciate him for working with me through the funks. Aside from school though, the past 3 years have been amazing and full of complete growth. From gaining experiences through volunteering and teaching to coordinating and hosting events that ended up being major success, I truly have enjoyed honing in on what I love and doing it with people I love. I’ve made some amazing friends and connections that have allowed me to feel included and seen in these spaces I often felt alone.
