This year marked our second annual Black Birder’s Week and it was better than ever. As one of the co-organizers of this event and the Black AF in STEM Collective, I am so proud and thankful for everyone who helped organize and participated in our events! Please look below for recordings of some of the events. Black Birder’s Week blossomed out of the racially charged occurrence in Central Park last year involving Christian Cooper. It’s purpose is to bring awareness to and amplify the Black experiences while highlighting the greatness that already exists within the diverse birding world!
